The Right for Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is the process through which church ministers assist adults who were previously baptized in another Christian tradition or who were not previously baptized to prepare for full initiation into the Catholic Church. RCIA includes the sacraments of Baptism (if not yet baptized), Confirmation, and the Eucharist.
