Each week, Knapp’s Donut Shop in downtown Rochester, and Gordon Food Service donate leftover food to the Baldwin Center in Pontiac. A St. Irenaeus parishioner has been transporting these food donations once a week for the past few years. Now his car has ‘downsized’ and the donations have increased, so we are looking for additional help to deliver the donations over two days.

We are looking for drivers to pick up between 2 and 6 boxes from Knapp’s Donut Shop, then more boxes of food surprises (bacon? bread?) from Gordon Food Service… and take it all to the Baldwin Center in Pontiac.  Baldwin Center opens at 8 am, so a drop-off sometime soon after would be ideal.

For your first run, parishioner John Blakowski will accompany you to show you the ropes!  He has been making these pick-ups/deliveries once a week for the past few years, and we are adding a second day of pick-ups, which is why we need another helper!
