Society of St. Vincent de Paul Detroit logo

Inspired by the Catholic tradition of service, the St. Vincent de Paul Conference at St. Irenaeus provides temporary relief to local neighbors in need. Join us in making a difference through these core initiatives:

Our Impact

  • Bi-Annual Drives: We host clothing, small appliances, and bicycle drives every spring and fall.
  • Monthly Collections: We gather food and hygiene products for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Depot (SOFD) in Madison Heights.
  • Direct Assistance: We partner with the parish to meet personally with individuals and families facing immediate crises.

How You Can Help

  • Donate Goods: Bring used clothing, small appliances,  to our next drive on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in the church parking lot.
  • Monthly Giving: Drop off food and hygiene items in the Gathering Area once a month.
  • Financial Support: Contribute directly to St. Irenaeus SVdP.
  • Join Us: Become a member of the Society and serve your community first-hand.
