Join us for the 19th Annual SVdP Detroit Friends of the Poor® Walk on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
Every year, hundreds of Metro Detroit neighbors lace up and walk together at Belle Isle – not just for the miles, but for the people those miles support. When you join the walk, your steps and your support go directly toward helping neighbors facing homelessness, hunger, and hardship right here in our community.
This year, we’re targeting 500 walkers raising 50,000. Help us get there.
Funds raised will help those in need within Lapeer, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, and Wayne counties.
